Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing together with her father Ed Nash. She has two sisters, Kaitlyn Nash, and Carolyn Nash. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather, who was a Portuguese immigrant, came to America from Portugal.



 From a young age, Kelly Nash was a avid fan of the Miami Marlins. Even though she was a fan of sports from a young age, she always dreamed of becoming an anchor for a newscast. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies. In 2009, she received her degree from Clemson University with a Master's in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for her services as a coach on the Sports Information Department's teams of Soccer and Baseball, she had been awarded an athletic scholarship that was full-time by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host featuring in multiple shows on the network like the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. She also serves as an NHL Network Studio host, Appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's on-air daily operations were moved to the MLB Network's headquarters.
